Marden was born in San Diego, California in 1966. She works predominantly in the medium of acrylic paints. In 1988, she received a Bachelor's of Fine Arts and Art Education from Simpson College in Indianola, Iowa. After completing her education, she lived the fast-paced Northern New Jersey life for over twenty years, immersing herself in child rearing and inspiring children and the greater community to participate in the arts. She is currently living happily ever after with her husband, William, on dreamy Saint Simons Island. The spectacular landscapes of Florida and Coastal Georgia have provided major inspiration and found their way into her paintings.
